Antique Hickory is a rare find even among the older structures where we locate most of our antique wood. Given its limited supply, Carlisle is proud to offer this prized wood valued for its durability and character. Sourced from barns along the Ohio River Valley and mid-Atlantic, antique hickory is sawn exclusively from beams that provide the support for these structures and are only available in the widths and lengths that we yield from the beams. Antique Hickory has all of the qualities that make our newly sawn Hickory so different and special, and then some! The striking color variations are magnified in the rich patina, and the rustic characteristics are even more prominent with this wood, making it a distinctive alternative to Antique Oak.
